What sessions can explore

You can bring whatever feels important.

Counselling can support anxiety, depression, domestic abuse, trauma, ADHD, autism, addiction, bereavement, anger, panic attacks, low self-esteem, family issues, learning difficulties, caring pressure and more.

Some people arrive with one clear reason. Others only know that life feels heavy, confusing or stuck. Either is enough to begin. Jayne helps you slow things down, understand what is happening and consider what may be possible next.

Sessions may include talking through current worries, making sense of past experiences, exploring patterns in relationships, building coping strategies, or supporting a child or family member with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Session fee£50.00

Concessions are available for low income, OAPs and unemployed clients. Jayne can also lower fees for children to help financially struggling parents.

Deeper support pathways

Counselling for the situations that often need care, time and trust.

These sections are designed to help visitors recognise where they may fit without feeling boxed in.

01

Domestic abuse, emotional abuse and trauma

Support can include making sense of fear, control, shame, grief, hypervigilance, relationship patterns and the impact of harmful experiences. Sessions prioritise safety, choice and control.

02

Children, young people and parents

Jayne supports children and young people with anxiety, bullying, learning difficulties, behaviour problems, family change, confidence and emotional regulation, while being sensitive to parental pressures.

03

Neurodiversity, ADHD and autism

Jayne’s background includes autism and neurodiversity. Counselling can give space for overwhelm, identity, masking, family understanding, self-esteem and practical emotional support.

04

Anxiety, panic and low self-esteem

Together you can explore triggers, body responses, negative thought patterns and the experiences that may be feeding anxiety or self-doubt, then build steadier coping methods.

05

Addiction, alcohol use and coping patterns

Counselling can help explore triggers, shame, relapse patterns, relationships and the emotional needs that may sit beneath addictive behaviour.

06

Couples and family issues

A calm space to look at communication, repeated conflict, trust, family transitions, separation, behaviour concerns and the emotional strain of trying to hold everything together.
